Having worked internationally for the past 30 plus years, being a Canadian citizen at that time, my company, that has a branch office in Canada requested that I go to Iran in the early 2000’s to bid a project and I would need to fly out of Canada that continued diplomatic relations with Iran. I was excited to go there, not only for the business aspect, but to check the culture and historic scenery. The journey was cancelled due to the changing diplomatic climate. I wish you all the luck and fortune of visiting Iran. I’ve lived and worked in the ME, and Asia but unfortunately not Iran. Kurdistan is also a great place to enjoy the people and culture with all religions coinciding in harmony and that was just before the ISIS activity.
