Yup, how it goes, the hell with health issues being taken care of, gimmee the money!!  When I had my knee replaced, I paid the doctor almost $4 k up front, the hospital around $2 k in advance, then the insurance company covered the knee replacement at around $15 k. I did have medicare but didn't list that as my primary insurance.  The hospital send medicare a bill, cuz I was over 65 and they paid another $15 k. That's where my $40 k knee came from and I was in the hospital for 2 nights -  and I still can't kneel down - hell - can't even beg anymore.
