That probably woulda kept the ignorant public from rejecting the bailout financing failed institutions and really making a stink about the parachutes …I suppose later, that would hold the stock from rocketing during the transition phase if anyone found out they’s gettin’ a buncha free money and could keep the price to where it is really cheap for B of A to buy it. Probably Goldman Sachs – Paulson’s buddies were buyin’ up a buncha shares in Merrill too. Not much collusion there, ya? Gov’t of, for, and by the people huh? BTW – Chomsky’s a leftist Jew – but one that’s at least semi-conscious …he just appears to be a little confused and misguided on who’s actually directing who…quote the article…
“There is no denying the intricate interweaving of the U.S. military-industrial complex with Israeli military-industrial interests. Chomsky acknowledges that there is "plenty of conformity" between the lobby's position and the U.S. government-corporate linkage and that the two are very difficult to disentangle. But, although he tends to emphasize that the U.S. is always the senior partner and suggests that the Israeli side does little more than support whatever the U.S. arms, energy, and financial industries define as U.S. national interests, in actual fact the entanglement is much more one between equals than the raw strengths of the two parties would suggest. Oh – to change the subject…here’s a real live look at what’s goin’ on with the current healthcare system…here’s the total of Debugger bills for all the family’s visits to the doctor since Jan 1, 2009 – and this ain’t including the dentist.
Total Billing = $ 2064.65
Total discounts by doctors to insurance company = $ 1019.81 or 49.4%
Total paid by insurance company = $ 670.12 or 32.5%
Total Paid by Debugger clan = $ 270.50(+/-) or 13%
Total insurance premiums paid for by Debugger and company during the same period = $ 3272.65
Hmmm…Something just don’t add up but, the cocksuckers (health care provider) collected $3272.65 and paid out $670.12 and this leaves a 2602.53 gross profit for the bastards…it’s no wonder those scumbags don’t wanna see a national health care system…
But to add insult to injury, the goddamned doctors give almost a 50% discount to the fuckin’ insurance company, but if you go and pay the doctor directly, you don’t get a discount at all…so they sure as shit, don’t wanna see any kinda national health care either…
With 147 million (±) people working in the US of A (tomorrow, it’ll be less) and say, only 40% have insurance; this would total a gross profit of $153,028,764,000.00 a year…anybody see anything wrong with this picture? Even if it costs the bastards 10% of the gross profit for lobbyist activities in DC including election contributions, free trips, free drugs, vacations, under the table corruption and collusion, that still leaves an incredible profit for health care providers…sumbitch!!! That puts them up there with military supply companies…next we’ll have a good look at the drug companies…these fuckin’ guys charge astronomical prices for drugs whose development costs were written off against their profit margin, keeping their tax exposure down to practically nothing. Then they charge over 1000 times the total manufactured cost of a drug and when you have a look popular recreational drugs like Viagra and the other ED drugs, then, stress medicine like Prozac plus all the shit for cholesterol, high blood pressure, enlarged prostate, cancer, pain killers and it’s even higher than that for AIDS treatment that really doesn’t work …damn…I seriously doubt if we’ll ever get a national health care system…if it was left up to me, I’d start recruiting expert marksmen for the national firing squad…after a buncha these guys were lined up and shot, d’ya think we’d get their ‘tention???
